Beautyful buck with a nice walking action. I love the backlight effect against the bright field in the back. Mottle texture of the foreground make a interesting contrast. Well done.

I was really drawn to this particular image as well. I have a few where the background was different and they are not as nice. I think I will have to practice with backlit scenarios. Thanks very much Yves for your feedback.

This buck was moving across the field towards a doe that he was trying to get close to. She would stop and graze and then move a little further away. The buck continued to try to get close to her. He had moved from an area where the lighting was poor into an area where he could be photographed prancing through this nice back-lighting.
